Ok, so i dont have much explaining to do since most everyone was online when the shit hit the fan, but personally im happy with the way things went and i foresee a bright future. We had alot of drama caused by inactive gm's or people who let power go to their heads, i had to experience most of this drama and play mediator between the guild and the gm's/officers. Also we had a few officers that actually served no purpose since it was like pulling teeth to get anything done.

So, that being said as of this moment the drama will end. I had said that we would discuss who would be GM and officers, and as of last night i didnt really want to be Gm, but i have renewed hope in this guild and would like to help, just as i did in Fusion. So if everyone would like i can stay GM for the moment at least, because i am about as impartial as it gets. So, feel free to use this thread to either agree that you would like me to stay, or that you feel someone else is more capable.

To another point of business, in my experience class officers make a huge difference in a guild, and help take alot of the burden off of the main officers/raid leaders, and this is one of the changes that we discussed before leaving fusion. And, as of this moment i have selected a few different class officers which i think are more than capable to get things started out for us, But i want every class as a whole to agree upon their officer. So, rather than creating chaos and starting like 9 votes, id rather try to have the entire guild online FRIDAY NIGHT, At raid time, for a meeting of sorts. At this time you will discuss amongst yourselves if you agree with the officer chosen, or if you think someone else would better fit the bill. Anyone who is currently an officer needs to create the class channel they would like to use, and are responsible for making sure everyone in that class stays in that channel. Class channels are invaluable to keeping down spam in raids, and theyre fun as well. That is really all i have to say about class officers at this time.

ON TO OUR PLANS.

We CANNOT let this get us down, you have to stay positive and keep your hopes high. Losing 3-5 people will not kill this guild. Negativity will. So, at this moment all Karazhan raids are regularly scheduled. i have promoted Microburst and Synphit to the status of officer so they have the ability to invite new people if they see fit, and govern their raids for the current time. They will be responsible for filling any voids in the groups, and continuing our success in karazhan.

25 mans FOR THIS WEEK are called off, but Next Tuesday we will be going to gruuls, and he will DIE. From what i count we have 24 raiders at the current moment and over 10 members, so please be online and show your support on Tuesday the 2nd of July.

The last order of business for the moment: ALL Class officers chosen will play a much bigger role in the guild when they are selected. They will be responsible for making sure we have enough raiders of their given class, and keeping their class happy. They are also meant to be mentors, and there to help their classmates get better and grow as a player. They will have the power to PROMOTE to raider, or DEMOTE to member, as they see fit so that we can continue to succeed in 25 man content. They will also be responsible for recruiting, when neccessary.

One final note: The guild ranks have remained pretty much the same, members are people who do karazhan, but typically do not raid, Raiders ar e the members who have shown a combination of skill/dedication/being well geared. AND very importantly, Friends and family: we had a few problems with friends and family thinking that they would get an FF invite to the guild, and then become a raider. THIS WILL NOT BE THE CASE, FF's will STAY FF's, until such time they decide to leave the guild and Apply as a member on their own skill level, OR they are needed by an officer to fill a spot, and are seen as a fit player to do so.

Take care, stay positive, be patient and everything will be all fine. You are all great players and even greater friends! Lets stop the drama and the fighting and help each other succeed and enjoy this "Game".

I know that we have at least a few people that were left in the wake of things, I am going to try to get a hold of Greysoul today, and get him over to the guild, as well as Reddcorn. I know that Redd is away at work, but he would want to be with us. Ill talk to Grey today, and see what I can do.

I talked to Grey today. Redd actually shut down his account, until after he comes back from Alaska. But Grey is sending himoff a care package soon, he is gonna include a note in there, letting him kind of know what happened with the guild.

Looks good.

As far as GM goes, I have faith in Kazin, Jedah or Op but I believe the guild needs a more out-spoken, hands-on type person to lead us into the next stage of our guild. Kazin is that person IMO. With our current member base supporting him.. we can't go wrong.

Strizen has yet to join the new guild which sucks for Team Friendship but we now have Ekyra so it won't be too devastating if he doesn't come.

In light of this meeting, Kara Raid 3 (aka Team Friendship) will not be raiding Friday night. Several people have let me know they won't be available monday or wed next week (4th of July) so we will be having our next raid next Friday and again the following Monday. We will then be back on schedule for wed/fri/mon raids. I suggest everyone take this time to run heroics (or get heroic keyed) and work on getting some better gear that's more on par with Kara.

rofl, be easy. Op serves his purposes and will be the mage officer. And well said Val, you make a great raid leader. I hadn't thought about next week being the 4th of july week, but i don't think it should interfere with our Tuesday raid. I will discuss with Team 1 <kazin's kara group> and see what they wanna do on Wednesday, we may also postpone kara until friday.

Good comments though, keep em rollin!

That being said, I believe Kaz should be the GM for our new guild, as he seems to be the person that cares how things are done, how people are treated and is always willing to help someone who is a bit confused without getting an attitude about it. You have my vote Kaz and I'll stuff the ballot box for you if you need (though I highly doubt it).

As I've said in the past, I am not able to be online Friday, since that is the ONE night I know my husband is usually home. I will try to be online for the meeting, but can't guarantee it.
