Don't feel too bad. Kids learn shit faster.. I betcha he doesn't speak english properly. He learned to play GH2 instead.

Matching the notes every time one of the colers hits the circle you have to hold the coler and strum the "Strings" but its like a pic and a string in 1.

It's easier and more complicated than it sounds. I'm a huge GH nutjob and even I haven't finished expert mode. The real tricks are getting the hammer on's and pull offs. You basically have to play the same song OVER and OVER and OVER to get the timing down. Eventually you can play the song without even looking at the screen.. If you've ever seen Jordan played on expert, you'll know what I mean. That song is fucking impossible.. hopefuly GH3 and Rock Band will be more challenging on the easier songs and humanly possible on the harder ones. I don't play much anymore because I'm waiting for the new games but it's still worth picking up if you haven't yet Pho. I know you have a busy schedule and GH2 is awesome because it won't suck up too much of your time.

So this is like DDR for lazy people? I think I'll stick with DDR.... since I bought the pad and all.

I should have purchased the hard plastic one. I got the soft one with the hard rubber insert which is supposed to be similar to the hard plastic one but less expensive, but it's just not as good as the hard plastic one. I've used the big metal ones, but I don't like them. The hard plastic ones are the way to go, hands down.

You guys know I'm talking about DDR pads still, right?

I have DDR Universe for the 360 and I'm not crazy about it. The song selection sucks (except for "Everytime We Touch" and Sugar Hill Gang) and the quest mode is horrible. They seriously need better songs. Plus the words that indicate if you hit a dance step or not (like "GOOD!" "GREAT!" "PERFECT!") appear where the dance steps are scrolling up. It's like.. what the fuck were the devs thinking? If it's supposed to increase the challenge it fails.. it's only fucking annoying. I like the idea behind DDR but the game fails.. the devs need to give it over to Harmonix and leave the game industry.

Seriously though, we all need to get Rock Band and play online.. I call Drums.
