Onboard sound re-enabled. Still no sound, nor 2.0 USB support, getting the

in device manager.

Not sure if you have a seperate sound card or not. But here goes.

Get Driver Cleaner.

Get rid of chipset and sound drivers (already have the newest versions downloaded before you do this)

Reinstall those new versions. Sounds like you are having some device conflicts, or quite possibly a bad chipset (NB most likely)

Second option.. beat up your brother steall his compy.

Edit: Never mind, sound working. Fucking sound options, god damn wave input...

Just no USB 2.0...

Im asuming your board supports USB 2.0. And im asuming you have drivers installed.

Do you have legal copy of windows installed and fully updated opkier.. or really i should ask. Is your copy of windows, illegal or legal, fully updated? Depending on how long its been for you you may have just totally missed the USB 2.0 update for windows.

It's legal. Free copy from College program ftw.

I Dl'd some USB 2.0 support off the net, gonna try that.
